Jim Miller Park

Located just a few minutes from Marietta Square, Jim R. Miller Park & Event Center is the go-to spot for everything from wedding receptions to rodeos. If you’re looking for a venue that offers versatility and charm, you’ve found it. Plus, where else can you host a trade show and see a circus clown all in one week?

The Event Center

The crown jewel of Jim R. Miller Park is undoubtedly its Event Center. This 41,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility features over 25,000 square feet of rentable exhibit and event space. With a large hall that can be divided into three smaller sections, it’s perfect for wedding receptions, corporate meetings, trade shows, and more. The facility even has a full-service kitchen, making it ideal for banquets and large gatherings. Air conditioning and modern restrooms ensure that comfort is never compromised.

The Midway

The Midway at Jim R. Miller Park is a sprawling 252,300 square feet of paved and grassy areas. Perfect for fair rides, festivals, car shows, and even 5K runs. It’s also where you can relive your childhood dreams of eating too much cotton candy and winning an oversized stuffed animal you don’t have room for at home.

The Pavilion

For more laid-back events, the covered pavilion offers a quaint setting with picnic areas and restrooms. The pavilion, with its 7,021 square feet, ceiling fans, lights, and adjacent restrooms, is fantastic for family reunions and picnics. It’s like your backyard, but better because someone else cleans up!

The Covered Arena

The Covered Arena is where the excitement truly kicks off. With bleacher seating for 3,500 and space for an additional 3,000 folding chairs, it’s perfect for the concerts, rodeos, and the Shrine Circus. The dirt floor is ideal for equestrian events and keeps the horses happy—because nothing says “showtime” like a happy horse.

Camping Area

Lake and camping area

During events, the park’s campground offers 44 sites with full hookups for water, sewer, and electricity. There’s a bathhouse, making it convenient for campers who prefer not to “rough it.” It’s like glamping but with more event-going and less Instagramming.

Parking and Accessibility

Overflow parking is available in the grass field across the street.

The main parking lot has 600 paved spaces, included with the rental of adjacent areas or available for individual events. Overflow areas in the North and South Lots provide additional space. It’s parking made easy—because finding a spot should be the least of your worries.

Home of the North Georgia State Fair

One of the most anticipated events at Jim R. Miller Park is the annual North Georgia State Fair. Drawing huge crowds, it’s a highlight of the year and showcases everything the park has to offer. From thrilling rides to delicious fair food, it’s an event that promises fun for all ages. Just remember: no one ever regretted eating an extra funnel cake!
