The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) pressents An Evening with FEE, Featuring John Stossel on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel. Join FEE president Lawrence W. Reed and special guest keynote, John Stossel, for An Evening with FEE.
The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m., the dinner with program begins at 7 p.m.
This is a night you don’t want to miss, as FEE celebrates liberty and their future home in Atlanta. John Stossel, a long time contributor to their magazine The Freeman, will be promoting his new book, “No, They Can’t” scheduled for release in April.
From the myth that government can spend its way out of a crisis to be mistaken belief that labor unions protect workers, Stossel, a true libertarian, provides evidence that the reality is very different from what intuition tells us. His evidence leads to the taboo conclusions that:
· Government already dominates health care—and that’s the problem.
· The state keeps banning foods, but food bans don’t make us healthier.
· Government-run schools and teachers’ unions haven’t made kids smarter.*

About FEE:
The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE), one of the oldest free-market organizations in the United States, was founded in 1946 by Leonard E. Read to study and advance the freedom philosophy. FEE’s mission is to offer the most consistent case for the “first principles” of freedom: the sanctity of private property, individual liberty, the rule of law, the free market, and the moral superiority of individual choice and responsibility over coercion.
